At age Sixty, Frieda Birnbaum Has Twin Boys!

(Written for fun!!)

At age sixty, Frieda Birnbaum just had two healthy twin boys!! She is several years older than I am and she is still saying,.."My body! My choice!!"

Her having two healthy twin boys has me saying in shock,.."My God!"

I can just see the scenes in my mind that this new development could bring about!! Heh!:

My seventy year old husband is looking at me in a whole new way! I haven't seen this look in his eye for years!!

My twenty six year old son is hinting about how nice it would be to have a baby sister or brother! This is getting ridiculous!!

Hubby's 102 year old Catholic auntie,..who lives in the local nursing home, but keeps up with the news on the internet,..gave me the eye yesterday and asked me if hubby and I have gotten started on her next great niece or nephew!

"Your husband is a youthful seventy years old!" says she "And you aren't even sixty yet!! There is still hope for you,..you, two, are just spring chickens!"

Then,..the good Catholic auntie glowers at me,.."You,..two,.. aren't using Birth control. are you?"

Son says that my reticence about accepting the fact that sixty year old women can have babies means that I am not keeping up with "recent scientific developments!!" (Yeah! Right!!)

I get a call from the nursing home warning me that 102 year old auntie has decided to move in with her 98 year old boyfriend,.."Petey!!" (She likes younger men!!)

On my next visit to 102 year old auntie,..she tells me with a gleam in her eye that she believes in "in vitro" fertilization" and she and "Petey" are going to start life over again!

(Then,..I wake up..screaming,.."Just say,.."No!! Just say,.."No! I have a right to say,.."No!")

Those family get-togethers have GOT to be one for the books!! You never know what any of you are going to say or think of next......................even the CAT, for goodness sake. Thanks for the smile.
